I had a fabulous stay at The Angel. The Grade II listed building oozed character. My double room was adorable, featuring a large bathroom and really comfortable amenities. Breakfast exceeded my expectations with freshly prepared options. The service from the owners was incredibly considerate. they even called me after checkout about my forgotten phone charger, showing a personal touch that's hard to find. Dinner with family at the cozy dining area was a hit. every course was top-notch, especially the dessert that left us all raving. I loved relaxing in the beautiful garden and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Just a heads up, the weather was pretty hot during our stay, so a lighter sheet would’ve been nice for a more comfortable night. 😊

The WiFi was slower than my granddad at a buffet. I guess being in the sticks has its downsides!
